The balance of deposits in the banking system of Tajikistan by the end of July this year amounted to over 7.9 million somoni, reports the press service of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).

The controller noted, in comparison with the same period last year, the balance of deposits have increased by 33.2%.

“Analysis of the volume structure of deposits shows that 37.9% or 2 997.0 million somoni accounts for legal entities and 62.1% or 4 918. 4 somoni for natural persons” – said in a statement.

It is noted that the weight average percent of deposits for this period in the national currency amounted to 15.62% and in foreign currency to 11,60% per annum.
