Dushanbe. 2 September. “Asia Plus” —  President Emomali Rahmon in the framework of his working visit to China, today on September 2, in Beijing met with the Head of the Board of Directors of the Chinese gold mining company ”Zijing Mining” Chen Jinghe.

At the meeting, according to the press service of the leader of the country, were discussed increasing activities of the Tajik-Chinese joint venture gold mining “Zarafshon”, which operates in our country since August 2007. For the development of the joint venture “Zarafshon” from August 2007 to January 2015 China has invested over 277 million US dollars.

Ch. Jinghe, expressing gratitude to the President of Tajikistan for his constant attention and support for the joint venture “Zarafshon”, has noted that despite the global crisis “Zijing Mining” is delivering to RT two modern gold refinery mini-factories and begins the gold mining at Taror deposit. China also intends to begin gold mining at Djilali field.
