Dushanbe. 3 September. “Asia Plus” — Tajik Defense Minister, Lieutenant-General Sherali Mirzo held a meeting with the Heads of security and law enforcement structures of the republic, the military commissars of the areas, commanders of military units. The main topic of the meeting was the issue of harassment in Tajik army and the prevention of crime in the Armed Forces of the country.

As said the spokesman of the Defense Department of the country Faridun Makhmadaliyev, on the meeting were heard out the proposals of the members to eliminate harassment, infraction of the law by the military and the security forces.

“The participants of the meeting proposed to amend a conception of politics and educational work in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, approved in February of this year by the President of the Republic. It has been proposed in a timely manner to encourage distinguished themselves in the service soldiers, to hold meetings with parents of servicemen, known personalities in the country” – said Mahmadaliev.
