Dushanbe. 7 September. “Asia Plus” — The state and prospects of Tajik-Chinese cooperation in the financial and banking sector were discussed at the end of last week at a meeting of the Finance Deputy Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Jamshed Karimzoda with the People”s Bank of China led by its chairman Zhou Shiaochuanom.

As reports the secretariat of the Finance Ministry, at the meeting were also discussed the priorities of the economic policy of the Government of Tajikistan.

“The parties paid special attention to further development and expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and the investment opportunities for the business communities of China”, – says the report.

It was noted that “the importance of the upcoming implementation of the programs and the need for coordination with the relevant ministries and departments of Tajikistan with the Fund “Silk Road” and the Agricultural Bank of China”.

Karimzoda expressed confidence that cooperation with the People”s Bank of China in all areas and will continue to develop and expand on a constructive basis.
