The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly condemned the terrorist attack in Tajikistan

Dushanbe. 7 September. “Asia Plus” — Ilkka Kanerva, the Chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Finland, condemned terrorist attack in Tajikistan. In a statement on September 5 issued that the senseless violence has no justification, and there is no place for it in our world.

“The criminals must be hold criminally responsible for their actions. Also, there should be a transparent investigation of what had happened. On behalf of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, I would like to express my sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims”, – said Kanerva.

Recall, that on September 4 at 4:28 was an armed attack on DMIA in Vahdat, as well as the on the central apparatus of the Defense Ministry of Tajikistan, where the group has assigned a large number of weapons and ammunition. In the attacks was blamed a former Deputy Defense Abduhalimov Nazarzoda (Khoji Halim Nazarov).  

Power structures have currently eliminated 13 and detained another 19 members of Abduhalimov Nazarzoda gang. As a result of Friday”s attacks and a special operation to eliminate organized criminal group, were killed nine police officers, six more were injured.

Halim Nazarzoda with 7-8 his accomplices fled in Ramit valley that 150 km far from Dushanbe. The place where criminals are allegedly taken refuge is surrounded, conducts an operation to detain and neutralize criminals.

The brother of former Deputy Defense Mirzohayot Nazarov, born in 1972, separated from his brother`s group and voluntarily yield to the Interior Ministry. The situation in the country is stable and is under the full control of security forces.
