DUSHANBE, February 8, 2016, Asia-Plus – Kazakhstan will provide assistance to the victims of floods and mudslides in Tajikistan, according to the Kazakh government’s official website.

This issue was reportedly discussed on February 8 at a meeting of Kazakhstan’s Commission for International Humanitarian Air, presided over by First Deputy Prime Minister, Bakytzhan Sagintayev.

“Taking into consideration the situation that emerged in Tajikistan affected by floods and mudslides, the Commission has recommended that the Government of Kazakhstan provide an official humanitarian aid to this country,” a statement released by the Commission for International Humanitarian Aid said.

The assistance reportedly includes preserved milk products, canned meats, vegetable oil, butter, and macaroni.
