Pakistani company seeks to get into Tajikistan market

DUSHANBE, April 12, 2016, Asia-Plus — Pakistani company is seeking to establish collaboration with Tajik enterprises.

According to the press service of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce (CCI), Ms. Manzoura Rustamova, Deputy Chairperson at Tajikistan’s CCI, has met here with Mr. Mohammad Amin Gaziani, Senior Executive Director at Tabani Group of Companies, and Mr. Yusuf Kudvavai (phonetically spelled), Marketing Manager at Tabani Group of Companies.

The meeting reportedly focused on issues related to establishment and expansion of cooperation in the fields of energy, light industry, and agriculture.

The sides, in particular, discussed volumes of trade and investment, investment programs, and competitive advantages of the Pakistani company.

“We want to establish cooperation with our Tajik colleagues and launch cotton and leather processing lines in Tajikistan,” Mr. Mohammad Amin Gaziani said.

He asked for help in organizing meetings with senior representatives of the ministries of industry, agriculture, and energy, as well as top managers of Somon Air (Tajik private air carrier), the source said.

Representatives of Tabani Group of Companies are expected to visit Sughd province.
