Days of Indian Culture open in Tajikistan today

DUSHANBE, April 20, 2016, Asia-Plus – An official opening of Days of Indian Culture in Tajikistan will take place at the Opera and Ballet Theater named after Sadriddin Ayni in Dushanbe today evening.

According to the Ministry of Culture (MoC), the Indian delegation comprises 40 people, including musicians and theater actors.

The event will reportedly run until April 26.  While in Tajikistan, members of the Indian delegation will visit cultural centers of Tajikistan such as the National Museum of Tajikistan and the National Library of Tajikistan.

On Aril 21, Indian artistes will visit Hisor district where they will give a concert.

On April 22, they will visit Tajikistan’s National Conservatory, and on April 23, Indian artistes will visit the Tajik Institute of Culture and Arts.

On April 24, Indian artistes will give a concert in the city of Norak.

The final concert will be given at the Opera and Ballet Theater in Dushanbe on April 25, an official source at a MoC said.
