DUSHANBE, April 20, 2016, Asia-Plus – A 30-year-old resident of Dushanbe has been detained with 36.83 kilograms of hashish in the northern city of Istaravshan, the Interior Ministry’s website reported on April 20.
Besides, a 25-year-old resident of the city of Kulob has been detained on suspicion of being involved in that crime. Two packages of narcotic drug that tested positive to hashish weighing 2.126 kilograms were confiscated from him.
The Interior Ministry’s website noted that a total weight of the confiscated hashish is 38.956 kilograms.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against alleged drug peddlers and an investigation is under way.
