At the end of the last week on the territory of Panj border detachment the soldiers of the State Committee of National Security of Tajikistan together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan in Khatlon region have prevent another illegal crossing of the state border from Afghanistan.

According to a spokesman of the State Committee of National Security of Tajikistan Ulughodzhaev Muhammad, a group of Afghan smugglers entered the clash with Tajik border guards.

As a result, one smuggler was shot, at the scene was found and seized more than 10 kg. raw opium.

A criminal case was initiated on this fact.
