National football team of Tajikistan gathered in the Sogdian city Guliston and began the preparation for friendly match against Syria.

According to the official website FFT, 23 players of our team (they are: 3 goalkeepers, 8 defenders, 8 Midfielders and 4 strikers) are preparing for the upcoming friendly match that will be held on 27th of August at the stadium “The 20th anniversary of Independence of Tajikistan” in Khujand.

The make-up of the national team, which was announced last week, has changed. Due to the son’s illness the goalkeeper from Tursunzade “Regar-Tajik Aluminum Plant” Alisher Dodov has left the national team. His place in the national team took the goalkeeper from the capital’s “Barkchi” and the
