During a working visit to Zeravshan valley the Chairman of Sughd region Abdurahmon Kodiri has visited Gorno-Matchin district, where he familiarized with the construction works on the raising of a new modern settlement called Mehron.
As reported the press service of the head region, the construction of the modern village of the future administrative center of the district in the town of Rohit was initiated by Emomali Rahmon last year. Under the new settlement was allocated an area of 21 hectares, of which 15 hectares are intended for construction of administrative buildings and social facilities and 6 hectares distributed to needy residents for garden plots.
Here will be built the building of the executive authority of the district, residential houses, police buildings and prosecutors, educational institutions and health centers of trade and services, bus station, teahouse and other facilities.
While the inspection of the progress of construction, the head of the region paid special attention to the quality of construction works. He also instructed the responsible persons to adhere strictly to previously established terms of delivery of objects in operation.
As “AP” has previously reported, on the first stage from the republican and regional budget for the construction of the village were allocated about 10 million somoni. To provide the village with drinking water from the regional budget were allocated 1.5 million somoni. According to the experts, water will flow to the village from Kallahona river with the help of 250 mm high-pressure line with a length of 7.2 km.
