Over the first eleven months of this year, the external trade turnover of Tajikistan, including electrical power, has amounted to more than 3.5 billion U.S. dollars, which was 91.7 percent of the January-November 2015 level or 322 million U.S. dollars fewer, according the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

The trade balance in January-November this year has been negative and amounted to more than 1.9 billion U.S. dollars.

Exports of goods over the report period have reportedly amounted to 809 million U.S. dollars, which was 0.7 percent or 5.9 million USD more than in the same period last year.

Over the same eleven-month period, imports of goods into the country have amounted to 2.745 billion U.S. dollars, which was 10.7 percent or 328 million USD less than in January-November, 2015.

Over the first eleven months of this year, Tajikistan has had trade relations with 109 countries of the world, including ten CIS nations.

Over the report period, Russian and China accounted for more 70 percent of Tajikistan’s imports.  In January-November this year, Tajikistan has imported 900 million USD worth of goods from Russia and 781 million USD worth of goods from Chine,

Over the same eleven-month period, Kazakhstan and Turkey reportedly amounted for 40 percent for Tajikistan’s exports.  In January-November this year, Tajikistan exported 173 million USD worth of goods to Turkey and 168 million USD worth of goods to Kazakhstan.   

Over the report period, major trading partners of Tajikistan were: Russia – 948 million USD; China – 822 million USD; Kazakhstan – 585 million USD; Turkey – 275 million USD; Switzerland – 106 million USD; and Iran – 102 million USD.
