Relatives of two members of the "GTA gang" who died in the shootings in the Moscow Regional Court on August 1 agreed to close the case against them on non-rehabilitative grounds. This was announced in the courtroom by the mother-in-law Mirzomavlon Mirzosharipov and his brother Abdumukim Mamadjonov, RBC reports.
"I came here for a body to take him to Tajikistan, I do not object to the termination of the case," mother-in-law Mirzosharipova said in court.
Brother of Mamadchonov also asked the court to dismiss the case. "I ask to stop the criminal case," he said, Tass reports.
The attack on the escorts took place on August 1 in the elevator of the Moscow Regional court. One of the defendants attacked the escort, as a result of which the defendants were able to free themselves and seize the arms of the guards, one of whom managed to call for reinforcements of Rosgvardia's employees. The reinforcements arrived on the third floor, where a firefight between the defendants and law enforcers began.
During the shooting, one of the employees of Rosgvardia was wounded. Defendants Abdumukim Mamadjonov, Mirzomavlon Mirzosharipov and Kholik Subkhanov were killed, two more – Fazliddin Khasanov and Khazratkhon Dodokhonov – were wounded. Khasanov died in the hospital from his wounds, Dodokhonov was discharged from the hospital. The murdered Holik Subkhonov was the brother of the organizer of the gang Ubaidullo Subkhonov, who was liquidated during the arrest in 2014.
In the case of the GTA gang, nine people appeared. They ambushed on the roads of the Moscow region and shot the drivers, stealing valuable items from the cars. Participants in the "GTA gang" are accused of 17 murders in the period from 2012 to 2014.
