Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament of Tajikistan Mahmadsaid Ubaydulloev signed a decision on convocation of the 12th session of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the fifth convocation on August 28.

The convocation of the next session of the Majlisi Milli MO on August 28 shows that the speaker of the upper house Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev is confident that the deputies will unanimously adopt all amendments to the laws proposed by the president today.

According to the proposed by the President draft amendments to the law on traditions and rituals, all funeral rites should be held without the slaughter of cattle and without food, including the rituals of the "third day", "fortieth day" and "anniversary". In other forbidden rituals, such as "oshi sari tahta", "dushanbegi", "jumagi", "haft", "bist" and "shashmohagi".  Also it is prohibited to slaughter livestock and food.

The draft proposes a new procedure for circumcision, according to which in the future it will be conducted in the family and without the services of artists.

Circumcision is also proposed to be carried out with the consent of the parents until the twentieth day after the birth of the boy in the relevant medical institutions free of charge, in accordance with the procedure established by the authorized state body in the healthcare system.
