Representatives of State Insurance Inspectorate under the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan and Uzbek insurance companies took part in a seminar organized by the Foundation for the Advancement of Life Insurance in Asia (FALIA).
FALIA was established by the leading Japanese company of life insurance Dai-Ichi Life Insurance Company in 1970. The main goal of the Foundation is development of life insurance by means of organization seminars and publication of materials on different aspects of this sphere of insurance. During period of activity the Foundation organized 145 seminars in 13 countries of the world in which took part more than 2900 specialists in the field of insurance.
Participation in this seminar was organized in the framework of established partnership relations with FALIA and State Insurance Inspectorate. A group of officials from insurance companies of Uzbekistan was formed to participate in the seminar held in Tokyo on July 23-29 “The strategy of assets management with view of management of life insurance development and risk management”.
This seminar will enable to study international experience particularly experience of Japan in the field of development and methodological maintenance of life insurance and its application while elaboration of legislative documents regulating relations in this sphere. Knowledge possessed during this seminar can be applied further in work on reconsideration of contracts of life insurance, elaboration and introduction of new insurance products for national insurance market.
Taking into account the necessity of development methodology of life insurance as an important segment of insurance activity with huge undiscovered potential State Insurance Inspectorate set agreement with management tea of FALIA on regular participation of representatives of Ministry of Finance and national insurers in the Foundation”s seminars.
