Kyrgyz citizens will chose what electricity to consume – home or import, Yury Danilov head of the fuel-energy and subsoil resources committee of the Kyrgyz Parliament said during the today’s session.
The problem is in home power producers. “The changes are necessary in context of the recent energy agreements signed with Kazakhstan (250mln Kwh), and ongoing talks with Russia, Tajikistan. Taking into account transportation expanses, set up of special energy distributing equipment, the Kazakh electricity will cost about 4.5 soms per Kwh. It is consumer who decides what electricity to use, home or imported,” Danilov noted.
