Kyrgyzstan’s GDP growth reached 7.5 percent through 11 month of 2008, which is 167,270,5bln KGS, the Kyrgyz National Statistics Committee reported.

According to the early forecasts of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade the GDP growth was expected to reach 6.5 percent, which would fulfill the pessimistic scenario.

The GDP growth rates would have made 5.4 percent, which is 160,213,9 billion KGS, without the Kumtor Gold Mining companies’ income.

As the National Statistics Committee earlier reported the January-October GDP growth made 150,345,6 billion KGS (surplus 6.5 percent), and without Kumtor Gold Mining companies – 144,449 billion KGS.

The 2008 11-month GDP is approaching the 2007 indices, which were 8.1 percent in January-November (8.8 without Kumtor Gold Mining companies’ income)
