“Today, the backflow of Kyrgyz labor migrants from Kazakhstan is easily traced,” the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Igor Chudinov said Wednesday in Parliament.
“Perhaps the backflow is caused by seasonal work of migrants. As far as I know, the Kazakh government assigned $3 billion for mortgage construction support. I believe that our migrants will not stay jobless in the neighboring country. But even if they come back we will have enough work for them, at Kambarata – I hydropower plant construction, or other projects,” Chudinov said.
Chairman of the Kyrgyz National Bank Marat Alapaev in turn said that according to the statistics the pure outflow of Kyrgyz citizens makes 26,000 people, whereof 24,000 left for Russia.
