“The Kyrgyz-U.S. economical potential is way not exhausted,” the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Igor Chudinov said while meeting with the U.S. Central Command chief General David Petraeus Monday in Bishkek.
The commander’s visit as well as recent visits of other high-ranking staff of the U.S. Department of State and the Defense Ministry only proves the positive dynamics of the Kyrgyz-U.S. relationship. However, the premier believes that it is more of political cooperation rather than economical.
“Unfortunately we have not started participation in the Afghanistan economy restoration program,” Chudinov said.
“I think this issue requires a closer attention and joint efforts,” the premier added.
