Global Foundation gave Uzbekistan more than US$ 13 million on struggle with tuberculosis.
In frame of this grant anti tuberculosis drugs for curing people with sensitive and resistant forms of disease will be invented, reported representatives of Global Foundation.
“Now the pilot project is implemented in Tashkent, Karakalpakistan, and in Hospital of Main Directory for Reformatory Justice. We provide hospitals not only with drugs for curing diseases, but also with diagnostics drugs. We also social support in different regions,” said Manager of Global Foundation Bureau on Struggle with AIDS, tuberculosis, and tertain Gulnoza Uzakova.
