Saudi Arabia interested in agro-industy of Kazakhstan

Saudi Arabia will invest in Kazakhstan”s agro-industy, reported in the Ministry of Agriculture.

The head of the Ministry of Agriculture Akylbek Kurishbayev and the Saudi Arabian Minister of Economic Affairs and Budget Planning Khaled bin Muhammad Al-Kusabi discussed Kazakhstan”s agricultural industry and perspectives on cooperation between the countries on an agricultural level.

Saudi Arabia is particularly interested in investments in grain crop production and cattle breeding.

Kubishev emphasized the favorable conditions for investment and suggested Al-Kusabi learn about the country”s agricultural conditions.

There are 3-5 million hectares of unused agricultural land in Kazakhstan, which would be a potential investment for Arab businessmen.

There are also favorable conditions for financing meat processing and other factories.
