Canadian company intends to attract US$150 million investments into Uzbekistan

Canadian investment and consulting company Prenix Associates International Limited intends to attract US$150 million in investments into Uzbekistan.

Peter Meiklejohn, president of Prenix Associates International Limited, who was recently awarded the status of the counselor of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in Canada, “will represent the interests of Uzbek business in his country and in North American countries,” reported People”s Word newspaper on May 6.

The company actively works on attracting investments into Uzbekistan and negotiates with interested parties on realization of projects worth US$150 million, Peter Meiklejohn said during his visit. Among these projects are creation of joint ventures in the sphere of fresh water systems modernization, small hydroturbines manufacturing, and others. Shipment of modern production technologies to Uzbekistan is also one of the goals of the Canadian company.
