Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaev offered investors from CIS states to invest into construction projects in Astana.
“You have seen in the city a Moscow house, Turkish buildings, Spanish and Italian architecture,” he said on Friday at the CIS Summit.
“We would like CIS counties to leave a footprint here, so that Astana becomes truly Eurasian,” Nazarbaev said. He invited CIS member states to participate in construction of Western China – Western Europe highway.
“Despite the crises, Kazakhstan receives investments. We look into the future with optimism, and hope that crises will end soon and we continue our development,” he concluded.
