Kyrgyzstan and the United States have agreed on opening the transit traffic centre at the international airport Manas, sources in the Kyrgyz government informed the news agency 24.kg Tuesday, June 23.
The Kyrgyz parliament, in its turn, has also confirmed the information. Deputies of the profile committee were offered to consider an issue on ratification of the Kyrgyzstan – U.S. cooperation agreement, signed in Bishkek on June 22 out of schedule.
According to the document, the transit traffic centre will function at the international airport Manas.
The Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Kadyrbek Sarbaev, to whom the news agency 24.kg turned for information, refused to comment the decision of the Kyrgyz authorities.
