Tajikistan, Ukraine plan to launch joint venture to develop and operate Tajik oil-gas and coal fields

DUSHANBE, February 9, Asia-Plus – Tajikistan and Ukraine plan to launch in near future joint ventures to develop and operate oil-gas and coal fields in Tajikistan, Asia-Plus has leaned from Qurbonkhol Bobokalonov, head of the oil-gas- and coal department within the Ministry of Energy.  

According to him, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in this area was signed in December 2005, during the second meeting of the Tajik-Ukrainian commission for economic cooperation in
