Russian export-oriented companies seek cooperation with Tajik entrepreneurs

A number of Moscow-based export-oriented companies have arrived in Tajikistan to discuss cooperation.  

Business negotiations began in Dushanbe yesterday within the framework of a business mission organized by the Moscow Export Center.

An official opening ceremony of the negotiations was attended by senior representatives of the Russian Trade Mission in Tajikistan, Tajikistan’s State Committee on Investment and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest), TajInvest Company and VIP Consulting Limited Liability Company (LLC).

According to the Moscow Export Center, the business mission members include 20 Moscow-based companies, including healthy breakfast manufacturer Matti, water and soft drink bottling plant Pey-ka, and manufacturer of butter and curd products Kefir-Group LLC. 

Besides, IT companies CDN Video, Intech, Azelot, Traffic Data and MD Audit as well as enterprises from the cosmetic, chemical and other industries have reportedly presented their developments.   

The Moscow Export Center says the business mission is one more important step for Moscow to expand cooperation with strategic partners.

Last year, Moscow’s exports to Tajikistan valued at 5.4 billion Russian rubles, which was 30 percent more than in 2020.   

The most demanded in the industries of Moscow goods were food industry, consumer products, medicine and pharmaceutics, etc.     

“I am sure Moscow companies will offer high-quality and competitive products to their Tajik partners,” Moscow Export Center top manager Vitaly Stepanov stressed.
