DUSAHNBE, May 31, Asia-Plus – A fire at a frontier post on the Tajik-Afghan in Panj has left at least four border guards with injures.
A fire broke out at frontier post # 12 of the Panj Border Unit on the Tajik-Afghan border in the southern district of Panj, Khatlon province, late Tuesday, at around 7:30 p.m., leaving four border guards with injures, according to information from Tajik border service.
The source says the fire has already been localized. According to the source, the results of the investigation into the cause of the fire have shown that the fire broke out when servicemen were burning dead wood. “The fire spread to the barrack, where there were four servicemen at that time,” the source said.
