DUSHANBE, November 6, Asia-Plus — A mild tremor jolted Dushanbe and its adjoining areas Tuesday morning.
The earthquake measuring 2.0-3.0 on the 12-point scale occurred around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday [November 6], said the Dushanbe seismological station.
The tremor could be felt in southeast Tajikistan as well.
The quake’s epicenter was 330 kilometers southeast of Dushanbe on the Tajik-Afghan border. In the epicenter, the tremor’s magnitude was 5.0 on the Richter scale, the source at the Dushanbe seismological station said, adding that no damage or casualty was reported after the earthquake.
