KHUJAND, August 7, Asia-Plus — Four persons were killed on August 6 as a car overturned in Sughd’s Panjakent district.
According to the Sughd police directorate, the accident took place on the 47th kilometer of the road from Panjakent to Ayni late Thursday.
“The 63-year-old Qurbonali Khujamov, the editor-in-chief of local newspaper
Zindagi
, probably failed to control his Toyota-Prado and it overturned,” said the source, “As a result of the accident, the driver and his three passengers – the 36-year-old Romish Khujamov, 43-year-old Mirzoali Egamov and 39-year-old Amrillo Abdulloyev – died on the spot,”
