DUSHANBE, February 9, 2011, Asia-Plus  — Rescuers from the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense (CES) found the body of Sattor Aliyev, who was driving Musso that fell over precipice into the Fon-Daryo River, on February 8, the CES spokesman Dustmurod Zabirov told Asia-Plus.

Earlier, it was reported that an all-terrain vehicle Musso had been driven by Zayniddin Norov, while according to amended information, the Musso owner Norov has granted driving authorization to Sattor Aliyev and the latter was driving the vehicle.

We will recall that Musso with five passengers (all of them are students at Tajik Medical University) on board was moving from Khujand to Dushanbe on February 7.  According to the CES spokesman, the driver apparently could not control the vehicle and it fell over a 50-meter precipice into the Fon-Daryo River.  The accident took place in Ayni district.

One of passengers – Abdurasoul Samadov – died on the spot, while three others – Mahmadazim Naimzoda, Mutaram Mousozoda and Firouzbek Sabourzoda – sustained various injuries and were hospitalized.  The driver and a 17-year-old Bishoira Kholboyeva have been reported missing.

Search operation for Bishoira Kholboyeva is going on, the source noted.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.  The source noted that the accident could be caused by the ice condition of the road.
