DUSHANBE, February 22, 2011, Asia-Plus — A two-year-old girl has been killed in a house fire in Shahrinav district.
The source at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) says the fire broke out in the house of Maroufjon Barotov yesterday evening and according to the findings of the preliminary investigation, the fire was caused by misuse of a stove.
According to the firefighting service of Tajikistan, 345 fires have been registered in the country since the beginning of this year. 11 persons have been killed by those fires.
