Tajik president visits Luxembourg

DUSHANBE, June 9, 2011, Asia-Plus — Wednesday afternoon, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon left Vienna, Austria for Luxembourg, according to the Tajik presidential press service.

During stay of Tajik delegation in Vienna, an agreement on status of the OSCE Office in Tajikistan and an agreement on cooperation between the National Olympic Committees of Tajikistan and Austria were signed, the source said.

Yesterday, members of Tajik delegation – Minister of Finance Safarali Najmiddinov, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Farrukh Hamraliyev and Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State-owned Property Management Davlatali Saidov – attended the World Economic Forum on Europe and Central Asia in Vienna.

After Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, President Emomali Rahmon will pay an official visit to Hungary, the source added.
