RECCA-V’s agenda discussed in Berlin

DUSHANBE, January 18, 2012, Asia-Plus — The draft program of the upcoming Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA V) and participation of a German delegation in the conference were among major topics of a meeting of Tajik Ambassador to Germany Imomuddin Sattorov with Afghan Ambassador to Germany Abdul Rahman Ashraf and German Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Michael Steiner that took place in Berlin on January 17, the Tajik MFA information department reports.

The Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan is scheduled to take place in Dushanbe on March 26-27 this year.

The sides reportedly noted that RECCA-V would be one more major event in the process of reconstructing Afghanistan’s and an effective of regional integration and coordination of regional projects.

Ambassador Sattorov also held talks his Danish and Swedish counterparts to discuss issues related to the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan, the source said.
