Majlisi Namoyandagon board discusses bill on amendments made to law on prosecutors

’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) parliament have discussed a bill on changes and addenda made to the RT Law “On Prosecutors”.

A regular sitting of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Shuro presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon Chairman Saydullo Khairulloyev was held on Monday [January 30].  

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for Tajik parliament (Majlisi Oli), has told Asia-Plus that members of the lower house’s board also considered bills on making changes and addenda to the RT Laws “On Narcotics, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors”, “On Police”, “On System of Execution of Criminal Penalties”, “On Status of Servicemen of the Republic of Tajikistan”, “On Security Services”, “On Land reforms”, “On Quality and Safety of Food Products”, “On the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Province (GBAO)” as well as amendments made to the country’s Water and Labor Codes.     

“A part of the discussed issues has been sent for getting resolution and another part has been recommended to be tabled to the agenda of the Majlisi Namoyandagon sitting that will be held next week,” the Asia-Plus interlocutor said.
