Mr. Feerasta told journalists following his meeting with President Rahmonov that AKDN intends to continue its activities in
Tajikistan
in future as well. He noted that AKDN’s projects are working in Gorno Badakhshan,
Rasht
Valley
(eastern
Tajikistan
) and
Khatlon
Province
. “And the cellular operator “Indigo”, for example, is working across the whole republic,” the AKDN Resident Representative said.
Hakim Feerasta noted that over the past eleven years, AKDN has provided
Tajikistan
with some US$250-US$300 million in assistance.
Mr. Feerasta noted that he had not face any difficulties or problems in his work in
Tajikistan
