Tajikistan, Kazakhstan to sign 10 agreements

, April 11, Asia-Plus – More than 10 bilateral agreements are supposed to be signed during President Rahmonov’s official visit to

According to information from the Tajik government, the visit is scheduled for the first half of May.   

Negotiations between the presidents of the countries are expected to result in signing of government-to-government agreements between


Tajikistan


and


Kazakhstan


on aerial communication, international automotive communication, and mutual recognition of licenses for construction activity.  

The sides are also supposed to sign a government-to-government agreement on labor and protection of rights of labor migrants.  This document will facilitate regulation of processes of labor migration.  

According to official figures, at present 32,000 Tajik citizens are staying and working in


Kazakhstan


.  The main part of them is engaged in entrepreneurship.
