, April 13, Asia-Plus – Tajik parliamentarians have endorsed the RT Law “On Registry”.
A regular sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (
Tajikistan
’s lower chamber of parliament) presided over by its chairman, Saydullo Khairulloyev, was held on April 12.
Deputy head of the President’s Executive Office also head of the Majlisi Milli (
Tajikistan
’s upper chamber of parliament), Mahkam Mahmudov commented on the law noted that registry offices in
Tajikistan
annually registered various documents covering approximately 300,000 people. The law gives right to
Tajikistan
’s consulates in foreign countries to register marriages of Tajik citizens living abroad.
Speaking to journalists, Mr. Mahmudov pointed to the necessity of reducing rates of duties for registering such documents.
Parliamentarians also endorsed amendments made to the RT Law “On Precious Metals and Precious Stones.” Under these amendments ores and raw materials for production of precious stones and precious stones may be taken out of the country only in the event
Tajikistan
capacities are not enough.
Deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon also approved amendments to the first and second parts of the country’s Civil and Labor Codes.
