Tajikistan
’s lower house of parliament has approved a bill “On Inspection of Activity of Economic Entities”.
A regular sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (
Tajikistan
’s lower chamber of parliament) presided over by its chairman, Saydullo Khairulloyev, was held on May 31. .
Deputy head of the country’s antimonopoly agency, Amonullo Ashurov, presenting the bill noted that such a draft law had been worked out in
Tajikistan
for the first time. According to him, a decision to draft the bill has been made following numerous unfounded inspections of activities of enterprises and organizations.
Speaking to journalists, Mr. Ashurov has noted that the adopted law strictly differentiates bodies to inspect certain spheres of activity. He also stressed that under the law the next inspection of one or other sphere of activity should be carried out not earlier than two years after the previous one and the term of inspection should exceed 30 calendar days.
The session also elected Khonali Qurbonzoda member of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on the State Construction and Local Government.
