DUSHANBE, January 11, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament (Majlisi Namoyandagon) considered bills requiring amendments to a number of laws at a January 10 meeting presided over by its speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev.
The session considered and endorsed amendments made to the laws on securing, serving and protecting the president, on the armed forces, on the fight against extremism, on the emergency services and legal status of rescuers, on the state social insurance, and the state forensic examination.
Parliamentarians presenting the bills noted that amendments had been made in order to bring the present laws into compliance with other legislative documents of the country.
