DUSHANBE, March 6, Asia-Plus – On Monday March 5, President Emomali Rahmonov met with a group of newly appointed high-ranking police officers.
According to presidential press service, Rahmonov telling the meeting pointed to the necessity of the right selection of personnel for interior agencies.
The president outlined fight against organized crime, corruption and drug trafficking as well as the right selection and fostering of personnel as the main tasks of high-ranking police officers.
Rahmonov also set concrete tasks on removing existing shortcomings and intensifying work of the law enforcement agencies in the country.
