DUSHANBE, Aril 2, 2011, Asia-Plus – A two-week refresher course for officers from counternarcotics agencies of Central Asia’s member nations of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) concluded in Moscow on April 1, according to the CSTO press center.
Drug control officers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan participated in the refresher course that was conducted at the All-Russia Advance Training Institute of the Ministry of Interior of Russia, which is the basic training center for law enforcement officers from the CSTO member nations.
The course participants were instructed in modern methods of countering illicit trafficking in narcotics, psychotropic substances and their precursors as well as countering money laundering, the CSTO press center said.
