Tajikistan called on international organizations to give an objective assessment of the events on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border

The authorities of the Sughd region of Tajikistan, having published a photo of the consequences of the recent armed conflict on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border, called on international and regional organizations to give an objective and truthful assessment of the events of September 14-17.

«Photos from the border regions of Isfara once again prove that the armed forces of the neighboring country shelled and set fire to the Tajik border villages, civilian buildings and houses of residents from all types of heavy weapons at their disposal.

By presenting photographs from the scene of recent events, we call on international organizations, analysts and experts at the regional and global level not to be influenced by provocations, conspiracies and lies spread by propaganda means of a neighboring country, and assess the recent events with an objective view and based on reality», – said in a statement by the press service of the chairman of the Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan.
