Tajikistan’s ten millionth resident has entered into a new three-room apartment in Dushanbe. .
The ten millionth resident of Tajikistan, who was named Firdavs, came into the world in Dushanbe on July 23. He was born at Dushanbe’s maternity house # 2.
His parents are residents of Dushanbe’s Shohmansour district. His father Faridoun Barotov is a labor migrant, who is currently working in the Russian Federation, and his mother Makhfirat Shokirova is a housewife. Firdavs is the first-born in this young family.
The Dushanbe Administration has donated a three-room to Tajikistan’s ten millionth resident. Deputy Prime Minister, Ms. Matloubakon Sattoriyon, and Deputy Dushanbe Mayor, Ms. Dilbalr Odilzoda, handed over the keys to the new apartment to the young family.
Recall, the nine millionth resident was also born in Dushanbe. It was a baby girl who was born at Dushanbe’s maternity house # 1 on June 4, 2018. She is the second child in the family of 28-year-old Nazira Mullojonova, who works with the Agency of Labor and Employment of Population, and Firouz Rafiyev, who works as administrator in one of Dushanbe’s supermarkets. She is the first child in the family of 33-year-old Maysara Sharipova and 37-year-old Rahmonali Sharipov. Earlier it was expected that the 10 millionth resident of Tajikistan will appear in the second half of August this year.
According to data from the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan, Tajikistan’s population has increased by 43,500 people over the first quarter of this year reaching 9,934,400 people.
Over the past decade, the average annual population growth in Tajikistan amounted to about 2.4 percent, whereas the population of our planet increased over same three-month period on average by 1.5 percent.
