The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) has opened a computer class at the juvenile correctional facility in Dushanbe.
An official opening of the computer class and launch of computer courses has reportedly been attended by the Deputy Minister of Justice of Tajikistan Mansourjon Umarov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkiye to Tajikistan Umut Ajar and TİKA Vice-President Dr. Umit Naji Yorulmaz.
In this class, juvenile prisoners will be trained in computer literacy, programming, graphic design and accounting.
The project is reportedly aimed at improving the infrastructure of the juvenile correctional facility and giving the children an opportunity to obtain knowledge and skills in the field of computer technology.
This will help the children to be socially adapted and get a job in this area after release from the facility.
