Traders from one of local markets of administrative center of Vose region of Khatlon Province went on strike on February 13th.

Local reporter Zafar Murodov told AP that more than 100 traders went on strike to protest against recent raise in taxes and cost of patents. Murodov quoted manager of the market as saying that there are 400 trading places and they are always filled with traders.

The reporter stressed that no accidents were reported while traders gathered in front of the market and wait for local tax and self-government officials to arrive.
