DUSHANBE, February 15, 2013, Asia-Plus  — Construction of a number of social facilities officially commenced in the northern city of Isfara on February 14.

Iqbol Teshayev, a spokesman for the Isfara mayor’s office, says reconstruction of a 20,000-seat stadium the city has been launched.

Besides, a new service center will be constructed in Isfara.  Five local entrepreneurs are funding this project that will create more than 200 new jobs for Isfarans.

Construction of a modern shopping center and sewing enterprise also commenced on February 14.  Local businesswoman Rano Mahmoudova is funding this project that is expected to create 150 new jobs.

All these facilities will be finished before the end of this year, Teshayev added.
