DUSHANBE, October 6, 2008, Asia-Plus — Construction of a new residential complex, comprising twelve multistory buildings, was launched in Dushanbe’s Zarafshon area on October 5.
Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that local construction companies Movarounnahr, Poytakht and Stroitel-KA are constructing the complex.
The companies intend to complete construction of twelve 12-story residential buildings next year, the spokesman said.
It is to be noted that groundbreaking ceremony for construction of this residential complex was held in March 2008.
