DUSHANBE, December 3, 2013, Asia-Plus — New Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov possess all qualities and skills a diplomat should possess and his rich work experience in the diplomatic service will allow him protecting the country’s national interests in proper manner, Tajik expert Abdunabi Sattorzoda said.

“We worked together at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a certain time and I know that he solves all issues after careful consideration that is a very important quality for career diplomat,” Sattorzoda noted.

He further expressed confidence that experience Sirojiddin Aslov had gained while serving as the First Foreign Deputy Minister, Tajikistan”s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Cuba would help him promote Tajikistan’s interests in proper manner.

We will recall that by president’s decree Sirojiddin Aslov, who had previously serves Tajikistan’s PermRep to the United Nations President, was appointed Foreign Minister on November 29, replacing Hamrokhon Zarifi.
