DUSHANBE, May 27, 2014, Asia-Plus — Representatives of business communities of Tajikistan and Poland are expected to meet in Dushanbe next month.

According to Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), the meeting will take place here on June 6 on the sidelines of the fourth meeting of Tajikistan-Poland commission for trade and economic cooperation and the annual international exhibition, Interlegprom-2014, that will take place at the Kokhi Borbad State Complex in Dushanbe from June 4-7.

Organized by Tajikistan’s CCI under support of Poland’s Embassy, the Tajik-Polish business forum will discuss ways to expand bilateral economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Poland.  A special attention will be given to bilateral cooperation between the two countries in sectors like energy, agriculture, construction, and health care.

They will also discuss issues related to attraction of foreign investments for development of Tajikistan’s economy, the CCI press center noted.

Senior representatives of Tajik and Polish enterprises will hold negotiations to outline sectors to drive trade and investment ties between Tajikistan and Poland.
